HORTICULTURE Advice is provided by David Southall.
David holds degrees in Forestry and Biology, a Masters in Botany
and completed an Internship at Brooklyn Botanical Garden.
He founded Botanicus in Buffalo, NY, a landscape/nursery/greenhouse
operation, which led to a large nursery in Bonita Springs. David was
VP of Education for Associated Landscape Contractors of America.
He is a Florida State Certified Biologist. David developed the original
Master Naturalist Program for the Conservancy of SW Florida,
and created the Native Plant Garden as Curator of Education at the
Collier County Museum. He is an NGC Gardening Study School
Instructor.
Now a “plant hobbyist,” he is willing to help others grow
